DUET 2.26
Duet 2.26 is an ensemble formed by Hèctor Rodríguez Palacios and Clara Giner Franco (flutists and performers). Together they explore new concert formats and new musical, interpretative, sonic and dramaturgical possibilities, constantly in dialogue with other artistic disciplines.
In 2023 they presented their interdisciplinary project "I love you I hate you" with a tour in Switzerland and Barcelona. As a result of this project, they were awarded the first prize in the ensemble category at the Concours Nicati 2023 - Swiss Contemporary Music Competition.
One of their main aims is to rediscover existing repertoire for the ensemble and to work with contemporary composers to expand the repertoire, creating new sounds and developing innovative concepts and interpretations that create a close and personal connection with the audience. The wide range of sonic and performative possibilities, as well as the special bond between the two musicians, magnetically engages the audience from start to finish.
In the educational and social field, Duet 2.26 has participated in the Open Day in Gare du Nord Basel and has been invited to the conference "Expert Days: Kosmos Kommunikation" at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) to give the workshop "Action - Intuition - Reaction".
